Two Drawers at Hand Height
Above the doors sit two side-by-side drawers, positioned exactly where you reach as you pass: keys, access cards, sunglasses, masks, shoe horns, the lint roller. They pull out on smooth runners, and their fronts sit flush in the facade so the piece reads as one clean composition rather than a stack of parts.
A Peg Rail That Actually Holds a Household
Above the counter, two rows of turned wooden pegs run the width of the back panel — the upper row for coats, tote bags, umbrellas and school satchels, the lower for keys, lanyards, headphones and caps. The frame, doors, shelves, drawers, pegs and counter are solid rubberwood — a dense plantation-grown hardwood with a Janka hardness of around 960 to 1,000 lbf that holds its shape and its joints through Singapore's humidity swings. That matters more on a full-height piece than on a low one: doors stay aligned, shelves stay level under a full load, and the pegs stay firm under the weight of a wet umbrella and a loaded tote. Every surface is sealed with a water-based paint finish — no strong paint smell, no off-gassing period, safe for occupied homes from the day it is installed.

Natural Wood is light and honey-toned, and keeps a full-height piece feeling airy in a compact entryway. Black Walnut is a deep classic brown that lets the hallstand anchor the doorway as a deliberate feature.
