Three connected workstations in a 120° cluster

The TriFlex Workstation is a three-person desk system built as one connected structure. Three 120° pods meet at a shared centre, each with its own electric height adjustment, joined by full-height laminate partitions — included as standard.

It is a set. The three positions are physically connected and specified together — not three desks pushed into a triangle.

Connected, not adjacent

That distinction matters more than it sounds. Separate desks arranged into a cluster drift out of alignment, leave gaps where the tops meet, and need three sets of feet competing for the same floor. A connected system holds its geometry, shares its structure, and presents as one piece of furniture.

If you want desks you can add to one at a time instead, that is our DuoFlex — standalone two-person desks you buy more of as you grow. The TriFlex Workstation is the opposite: a fixed three-person unit, specified once.

700 mm deep — built for multiple screens

Each pod is 700 mm deep, against the 600 mm standard on most desks. Combined with the 120° geometry, that gives every seat meaningful viewing distance without a wider footprint.

Sitting inside the V, the far ends of both arms sit further from your eyes than the near edge. A screen at each end is glanceable rather than something you turn to look at. For roles running three or four monitors — trading desks, development teams, analysts, anyone monitoring several feeds — that geometry does work a rectangular desk cannot. We worked through the arithmetic of multi-screen desk sizing in this guide.

Partitions included

Full-height laminate partitions run between the three positions, included in the price — not an extra.

In a cluster they do more than they would on a two-person desk. Without them, three people face inward at each other and the arrangement stops feeling like three workstations and starts feeling like a meeting table. They also cut the visual distraction of someone moving in your peripheral vision — the thing that actually breaks concentration for most people, more than noise does.

Sound-absorbing panels are made to order. Where noise matters as much as sightlines — a room with hard floors and bare walls, or three people on calls at the same time — we can build acoustic panels in place of the laminate ones. Ask us to quote it with your order.

Over 100 colours — on the desktops and the partitions

Three desktop finishes are selectable above: Walnut, White and Maple. That is a starting point, not the range.

We hold more than a hundred laminate finishes, and every one costs the same and carries the same 3–4 week lead time. Your choice of colour never changes the price or the wait.

The partitions come in the same hundred-plus colours. On a floor of clusters that is genuinely useful: screens can match the desktops, contrast with them deliberately, or carry a brand colour across a whole office without paying a custom-finish premium on every unit.

Email us and we will send photographs of the swatch range, or see the full set in person at our Toa Payoh showroom.

Height adjustment on every seat

Each of the three positions adjusts independently from 580 to 1230 mm, so one person can stand while the others stay seated. No shared height, no negotiation.

  • Travel speed 32 mm/s — sitting to standing in well under a minute
  • Four programmable height presets per seat, so each person's sitting and standing positions are one button away
  • Powder-coated steel columns, in white or black

Presets are what make a height adjustable desk get used. If changing position takes more than a press, most people stop bothering within a month — and across an office that is the difference between a feature you paid for and one that earns its cost.

Standard size, and why we chose it

The standard cluster has 1000 mm arms at 700 mm deep per position.

That is a deliberate choice rather than the largest we can build. A three-pod cluster occupies real floor area, and 1000 mm arms keep it workable in the rooms most Singapore offices actually have. It gives each person a generous surface without the cluster dominating the floor.

If you have the space, we will build it larger. Longer arms give each seat more surface and more room between colleagues, and on an open floor that often reads better than the standard size. We also build shallower or reshaped versions where a walkway, a column or building services get in the way.

Tell us about the room

This is not a desk most people buy off a page, and we would rather you did not have to.

Send us your floor plan or your dimensions and we will work out how many clusters fit, what size suits the space, how the finishes should run across desks and screens, and whether acoustic panels are worth specifying. We will quote the layout, not just the furniture — and if you are working to a move-in date, we will schedule delivery and installation around it.

Come and see one at our Toa Payoh showroom if you can. A 120° cluster is difficult to judge from a photograph, and ten minutes standing at one tells you more than any specification will.

Which system in the range?

One person Elevate Laminate · Elevate Solid Wood · ErgoFlex L-Shape · TriFlex Single
Two people, standalone DuoFlex
Two workstations on one frame. Buy another as you grow — they sit alongside rather than joining.
Three people, connected TriFlex Workstation (this system)
120° cluster, pods facing outward, partitions included
Four or more, connected ProStation
Linear benching in rows, two to ten seats, for larger floor plates

Clusters and rows suit different rooms. A cluster works where people face outward and the floor is open; benching works where desks run along a wall or down the length of a space.

Delivery and installation

Free delivery and installation across Singapore. A connected three-person cluster is a proper install — our team assembles it in place, levels each position, tests every control panel and takes the packaging away.

Care

Wipe spills promptly rather than letting liquid stand at an edge, since exposed edges are where composite cores take on moisture. Use coasters under hot drinks, avoid abrasive cleaners, and keep the desks out of the direct draught of an air-conditioning vent.
