Every door front is a run of solid timber slats with open gaps between them — air flows through the cabinet continuously, so shoes worn through an afternoon downpour dry inside the cabinet instead of steaming in it. Concealment without the seal: from across the room it reads as clean vertical lines; the shoes stay out of sight, and the air never stops moving.

Two Sizes, Two Configurations
Both sizes share the same 35cm depth and 105cm height, with a curved gallery lip framing the display top and slender turned legs lifting the cabinet off the floor.
- 80cm (2 doors) — for standard HDB entryways. Without drawers, $570; with two top drawers, $600.
- 120cm (3 doors) — the family-width cabinet; three light doors, each opening onto its own section. Without drawers, $720; with two top drawers, $750.
The no-drawer configuration pairs the slatted doors with an open shelf at the base — the landing spot for the daily-rotation pairs and a basket or two.
The drawer configuration replaces the base shelf with two full-width drawers at the top, at exactly the height your hands reach on the way out — keys, access cards, sunglasses, shoe horns — with the slatted doors running to the plinth below.
Inside the Doors
Tiered shelving runs the width of each section, with spacing that takes everything from flats and sneakers to heels. As a guide, the 80cm model holds around 14 to 18 pairs and the 120cm around 22 to 26, with the no-drawer versions adding several pairs on the open base shelf. The three-door 120cm model keeps each door panel light and each section independently accessible.
A Display Top with a Gallery Edge
The top surface is framed by a gently curved lip on three sides, so keys, postcards, ornaments and the day's clutter stay put instead of sliding off the back. At 105cm high, it lands just below most switch panels — a natural drop zone and display ledge in one.
Solid Rubberwood, Water-Based Finish
The cabinet — slats, frame, shelves, drawers and legs — is solid rubberwood, a dense plantation-grown hardwood with a Janka hardness of around 960 to 1,000 lbf that holds its shape and hinges true through Singapore's humidity swings. Every surface is sealed with a water-based paint finish: no strong paint smell, no off-gassing period, safe for occupied homes from the day it is installed, and it keeps its colour over the years rather than yellowing.
Two Finishes
Natural Wood is light and honey-toned, at home in Scandinavian and Japandi interiors. Black Walnut is a deep classic brown that gives the slatted fronts a mid-century character.

Does the ventilation actually prevent odour?
Airflow is the honest answer to shoe odour: moisture that escapes cannot feed it. The slat fronts keep air moving through the cabinet continuously — paired with the usual habit of letting soaked pairs dry before shelving, the still-air mustiness of sealed cabinets does not get a foothold.
Can you see the shoes through the slats?
Only faintly, up close. At room distance the vertical slats read as a solid textured front; the interior sits in shadow. You get the tidiness of an enclosed cabinet with none of the sealed-in air.
Which configuration should I choose?
Take the drawer version if your entryway lacks a place for small essentials — the two drawers replace a key bowl and catch-all tray. Take the no-drawer version if you want an open landing shelf for the pairs you wear daily.
Will it fit my HDB corridor?
Almost certainly. At 35cm deep, both widths leave the walkway clear in a standard 90–110cm corridor, and the raised legs keep cleaning underneath easy — robot vacuums included.
